“Jardins, jardin”, the meeting place for garden and culture lovers in Paris.

14 May 2024

To celebrate its twentieth anniversary, the “Jardins, jardin” festival will take place in the garden of Villa Windsor, opening its doors to the public for the first time in its history.

The big festival of plants, urban gardening, and nature in the city that usually takes place in the Tuileries Garden, will take place this year in the verdant setting of the Villa Windsor garden. For this edition, the festival combines Nature and Culture(s) under the theme "Cultivated Natures."

“Jardins, jardin is taking a strong stand this year with the theme "Cultivated Natures". Nature is both a source of inspiration and life. It is admired and transcended by artists and by all those who draw energy and comfort from it. It is also shaped and structured by the hands of landscapers and gardeners to shelter, nourish, and refresh. The theme 'Cultivated Natures' embraces three essential and inseparable dimensions: the intimate connection between Culture and gardens, the cultivation of gardens, and vegetable cultures. These three dimensions illustrate the hybridization of nature and culture, which will be reflected along the path proposed in the park of Villa Windsor.” — Xavier Laureau, co-founder of Jardins, jardin.

Whether you want to explore the Villa Windsor garden and learn more about its history with the team from the Mansart Foundation that takes care of its restoration, or if you are a gardening enthusiast seeking inspiration and advice, the "Jardins, jardin" festival is the must-attend event. You will have the opportunity to walk around beautiful temporary gardens designed by the top landscape gardeners in France and to meet the most talented artisans. Next, you will be able to participate in a morning yoga session and then relax in the hammocks, under the shade of the century-old trees.

This unique event will bring together heritage and garden enthusiasts from 30 May to 2 June 2024, from 10am to 6pm, with a day dedicated to gardening professionals on 29 May.
