The Union Rempart and the Mansart Foundation have established a foundation under its aegis called the Union Rempart Sheltered Foundation.
The Union Rempart is a union of 170 heritage preservation and popular education associations, whose goal is the restoration of monuments. Founded on July 11, 1966, it was recognized for its public utility in 1982. Rempart is the acronym for Rehabilitation and maintenance of monuments and artistic heritage.
The Rempart sites are not only places for discovering heritage and restoration techniques, but also places for learning about community life and exercising citizenship. By making a donation to the Union Rempart foundation, you will act in favor of the restoration and preservation of an element of heritage, by bringing it back to life, and will act in favor of local development and regional planning, especially in rural areas.
