The Mansart Foundation is an umbrella foundation which aims to conserve and promote French heritage.
Its actions go from the restoration of the castle and the Trianon de Bagatelle, the Villa Windsor, but also at the castle of Maintenon, to the Friends of the Center Pompidou, the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art of Paris, of the National Domain of Chambord, etc.
A foundation recognized as being of public utility, the Mansart Foundation acts within the framework of its statutes and its internal regulations, with the participation of a Government Commissioner, appointed by the Interior Ministry on advice from the Minister of Culture.
On its various heritage sites, the Foundation currently manages a large collection of archives and art objects. Its collections are presented to a wide audience every year.
The national importance of the Foundation's commitment to serving the common good was recognized by the State in 2005, with the mission of preserving and bringing to life heritage of great interest, whether natural, historical or contemporary.
