350th Anniversary of the Acquisition of the Maintenon Estate by Françoise d’Aubigné

On Saturday, 14 September, we celebrated a significant date: the purchase of the Maintenon estate by Françoise d’Aubigné in 1674.

First, a lecture by Jacques Bresson allowed nearly 700 guests to know better about the fascinating life of Françoise d’Aubigné. Afterwards, several thousand locals from Maintenon gathered for an unforgettable evening, highlighted by an extraordinary fireworks display.
