Admiral Philippe de Gaulle has left us

It was with sadness that we learned this morning of the passing of Admiral Philippe de Gaulle.
His family had moved into Villa Windsor - then called Villa de Neuilly - after the Liberation in September 1944.
In March 2023, Admiral Philippe de Gaulle shared with us how moved he was that this house, where he had so many memories, could be restored and opened to the public for the first time.
The Mansart Foundation expresses its deepest condolences to the de Gaulle family and to his loved ones.
